Dennis Michelsen
Founder DMIC Media

Dennis Michelsen grew up in Des Plaines, IL with two passions…the science of meteorology and sports. He got his start in radio at a young age working on high school radio station WMTH. After spending 23 years as a professional weather forecaster, the twists and turns of life sent Dennis in another direction. Dennis grew up watching all kinds of racing on ABC’s Wide World of Sports and when his Dad took him to Wilmot Speedway he was hooked. He was an accredited member of the NASCAR press being granted membership to the National Motorsports Press Association in 2001 and owns DMIC Media…a leading media entity covering auto racing and other sports. When he is not covering auto racing, Dennis is cheering on the Chicago Cubs or Chicago Blackhawks to another victory.
